Hi, everyone! We are enjoying another rotaion of working on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. Even on the east side of the Cascade Mountains where it is typically very dry and brown (only about 7 inches of rain annually!) we are enjoying the last lingering green of spring. Such beauty! A BIG THANK YOU! We have noticed a recent surge in reviews on our books on Amazon which means that many of you have taken taken the time to help us out. It really does make a difference as it helps new readers discover our books. For those who haven't had a chance to leave a quick "star" review and write a sentence or two about what you liked about the book you've read, here's a link to our Amazon page where in just a few clicks, you can assist us! CLICK HERE FOR OUR AMAZON HISTORY HIGHLIGHTS PAGE Here are few of our most recent rave reviews: For "Lewis & Clark: Part One" - Bill Wiemuth writes in such way that is both factual and extremely entertaining. The books are hard to put down once you start. And, after one book you can’t wait to get on to the next one. I highly recommend any and all of Bill’s books. - MaryJM
For "The Declaration of Independence" - In 2026 the United States is 250 years old. Very few people today have any idea what happened during the American Revolution let alone what led to it...This book brings that out in a concise manner. No long dissertations just a short and accurate telling. This should be a textbook in high school and required reading. - Craig C. Smith
For "The Oregon Trail" - Words directly from the participants...It is one thing to have a historian tell you about events. It is by far another (much better) thing to have the words directly from the people that experienced the event. That is what Bill Wiemuth does so well in this book. Great read. - David
